LetsVenture Plus is the latest addition to LetsVenture products after MyStartupEquity which was launched in January this year. This new product will allow the ultra-high net-worth (UHNIs) individuals and family offices to invest in growth stage startups as well as come in as Limited Partners in global funds. The platform operates on an invite-only platform making it more exclusive.
The platform has not been officially launched and is currently in stealth mode but the reports have it that it already has 500 users. Expected to be official next week, LetsVenture Plus has already launched multiple deals like exclusive allocation in a global venture capital fund.
Nimesh Kampani, formerly with Kotak Mahindra Bank has been appointed as the head of the initiative. LetsVenture was started in 2013 and it is backed by some of the big names in the industry including Ratan Tata, Accel Partners, Chiratae Ventures and Nandan Nilekani.
LetsVenture Plus aims to bring exclusive opportunities to UHNIs and family offices that remain inaccessible otherwise. Usually this audience gets access to growth-stage startups by being an LP in the fund but LetsVenture Plus tries to bring more transparency in the model. The company aims to cover all entire startup ecosystem from its products.
